This offering is designed for customers who are seeking to determine if virtualization is a viable solution to meet their business requirements. At the completion of this project, you will have a fully operational virtualized environment for your enterprise users. The environment can be configured on-premise or in either the Azure or Amazon cloud. At the end of this project, you will receive a document describing the architecture provided and metrics to watch during the pilot.

vGenii Responsibilities
The following is a list of activities that vGenii resources will be responsible for during the engagement:

• Review project business requirements
• Provide selection guidance around software and platform if necessary
• Design the appropriate pilot environment to meet business requirements
• Build platform infrastructure if necessary
• Install virtualized infrastructure
• Integrate the pilot with existing Active Directory infrastructure
• Integrate the solution with an existing Citrix infrastructure if available
• Verify connectivity to the virtualized environment
• Provide administrative training for up to three staff
• Provide documentation for the pilot environment
• Provide a list of key metrics to monitor during the pilot

Customer Reponsibilities
With this project the customer is responsible for any activities not specifically identified above, including but not limited to the following activities:

• Provide hardware storage or cloud storage accounts for the pilot
• Provide all storage management support
• Provide network services support such as DHCP and DNS
• Provide Active Directory support such as GPO configuration, account creation, and group management
• Provide SQL Server database support such as database creation and account authorization
• Distribute required agents to pilot users

Deliverables
The following deliverables will be provided with this engagement:

• Documentation of the pilot environment
• Documentation of the key performance metrics to monitor during the pilot
